This blog does not actively collect personally identifiable information on its own. However, (1) the third-party services below may automatically collect some data, and (2) if you leave a comment, the information you enter (nickname, optional email, etc.) is collected. Services Used#
Google Analytics#
This blog uses Google Analytics to analyze aggregate statistics such as visitor counts, traffic sources, and time spent on pages.
- Google Analytics uses cookies to anonymously track visitor behavior.
- Collected data is not used to identify individuals.

GoatCounter#
This blog also uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly visitor analytics tool.
- Does not collect personally identifiable information and does not use cookies.

Waline (Comments)#
Comments are powered by Waline, a serverless comment system. Anyone can comment without a dedicated account.
- Information you provide: When commenting, you may enter a nickname (required), an email (optional), and a website (optional).
- Your nickname, website, and comment content are public.
- Your email is never made public and is used only for reply notifications and to display your profile image (Gravatar).
- Automatically collected information: For spam prevention and comment moderation, your IP address (and the approximate region derived from it), along with browser and operating system information, are stored.
- Comment data is stored on a Waline server (hosted on Vercel) and database (Neon PostgreSQL) managed by the site owner.
- Logging in is optional; if you prefer not to comment, you do not need to enter any information.
- To edit or delete a comment you posted, please contact the email below.
Google AdSense (Advertising)#
This blog displays ads through Google AdSense.
- Google AdSense uses cookies to show ads relevant to your interests.
